    Pros

Good opportunities for advancement along with a casual and fun atmosphere.

    Cons

Well, casual and fun until you work have to work 60, 70, or 80 hours a week, which happens often. Requirements are finalized too late in the development process, which means that a lot of the design is done almost on the fly and eventually requires rework when the real requirements are determined.

    Advice to Management

Solidify requirements and design much earlier in the development process so that estimates are more than a shot in the dark.

    Pros

Management was involved in day to day work to the point they were needed and then they handed off as necessary.

    Cons

There was an increase in the amount of work to the point where it became very difficult to keep up.
