Pros – They are working on selling themselves to another company which might provide better management.
Cons – BMTC does not care about clients or staff.
Advice to Senior Management – Step back and recapture your fiduciary and moral duties to clients and staff.

I have been working at Bryn Mawr Bank part-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Great company with excellent associates and we do a wonderful job for clients
Cons – Management does not care for employees. Especially senior managers. They think that all of us are replaceable an act like it too. They take large bonuses and raises for themselves and also eliminate pensions for employees while keeping the pension benefit for themselves. Also, ask about the turnover, wow!
Advice to Senior Management – A change in management is needed. Old boy network is in high gear. Management acts friendly and then behind your back is not supportive. A number of great workers and friends have been let go.

I have been working at Bryn Mawr Bank full-time for more than 5 years
Pros – Company has good reputation. Some good co-workers.
Cons – Management operatates under the theory that you make employees feel like their job is in danger and they will put out incredible efforts. Managment makes short sighted decisions. Staff must make up for bad decsions
Advice to Senior Management – They need to think of the long term - not just their annual bonus.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I worked at Bryn Mawr Bank
Pros – Great middle managers and employees, fabulous reputation, beautiful facilities, a lot to be proud of with regards to the institution
Cons – Inner-office politics like you cannot believe, old boys left and right, expect to be treated like dirt if you're not old money, and leave expectations of diversity and progressiveness at the door
Advice to Senior Management – Stop letting your little grudges come in between what are sound business decisions, needs a serious overhaul of employee incentives
