    I have been working at Bucknell University full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Benefits are great. 23 vacation days, 12+ paid holidays, no sick day tracking. Medical and Dental coverage are good. 10% retirement contributions
    - Campus is beautiful
    - Great relationships within departments
    - Location (if you don't mind rural settings). Can get to NYC, Baltimore, D.C, Philly, etc within 3-4 hours.

    Cons

    - Some Faculty do not respect Staff. They feel that since they have a PhD at the end of their title that they know all and can treat people however they wish
    - Student's are snobby and dependent. They have no problem having mommy or daddy call when they have a problem.
    - Location isn't great if you like an urban setting

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Some groups routinely lob problems over the fence without any repercussions.

    I have been working at Bucknell University full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    While short as of now, my experience has been excellent so far. Best aspects include:

    - Benefits;
    - Family-friendly setting;
    - Technological diversity;
    - A continuous drive to do better;
    - Opportunity to grow.

    Cons

    - While the University offer a very nice selection of services, the city of Lewisburg itself is relatively small.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the excellent work.

    Truly the best place on Earth (or at least in PA)

    I have been working at Bucknell University

    Pros

    Never once did I question the dedication to my success of every faculty member at Bucknell. They really do care and see the students they graduate as a reflection of their ability to educate. Would do it all over again.

    Cons

    Honestly, it is a bit too isolated. I would have really liked if it were closer to mass transportation hubs or even a sizable downtown.

    Pros

    Friendly co-workers, manageable workload, fun environment. The campus is beautiful, and the atmosphere is friendly.

    Cons

    Location: Lewisburg isn't exactly the most busy of places, and is far from any city. The students party a little too much and too often, making it difficult sometimes.
