    Pros

You have the opportunity to work with some exceptional children. The schedule worked for me while I was attending school.

    Cons

No Benefits No Compensation No Communication and when you call for information, staff act like deer caught in headlights. Many of the clerical staff have no interpersonal skills, some seem to be just waiting for retirement. Talent and development training needs to be giving to all staff especially substitute teachers.

    Advice to Management

All the Board does is bicker over everything. Need to really come out of that boardroom and step into the classroom. Work on your talents and developments. Credentials mean nothing without professional and interpersonal skills

    Pros

There are some talented people. The BTF benefits are unparalleled.

    Cons

Leadership, mandates, and policies are stifling. No one knows what's going on.

    Advice to Management

Many factors beyond their control, but they need to really think about doing things radically differently. The same ol', same ol' isn't working.

    Pros

The student population is tough but there are many great kids. The staff is great to work with, they are talented and dedicated to the students.

    Cons

Management is poor, staff is scrutinized excessively. They don't often hire from their sub list as they have trouble keeping subs long-term.

    Pros

I always felt very supported by Administration.

    Cons

Finding more ways to motivate parents to get involved with their children.

    Advice to Management

I like the way they work together as a team to support the staff members. Please continue to do so. It works well for the building.

A dictatorial administration that knows little about curriculum and listens to no one

    Pros

There are plenty of people who feel the same way I do. It is employment.

    Cons

Probably one of the worst school districts in the country as far as innovativeness, curriculum, talent and education.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people with a criminal background - stop listening to the uneducated, lying, drug dependent parents. Make the workplace more equitable by treating everyone equally and distributing the workload more equitably.

    Pros

Structure of some schools and the administration

    Cons

Not enough disciplinary actions for disobedient children. This no action concerning students who are absent frequently.

    Advice to Management

Give the administrators more leverage to hire and eliminate teachers that are not fulfilling school requirements
