Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Fargo, ND

    Pros

Flexible with work schedule. Competitive pay. The people that I work with in the Fargo location are all very helpful and knowledgeable.

    Cons

Benefits are terrible in relation to other companies in the area. Very outdated manufacturing facilities and technology. Very little support from management when suggesting improvements. Severe lack of inventory control.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update technology and improve benefits for US employees. Upper management chooses not to provide a competitive benefits package because of cost.

Current Employee - If You Are Under 30 DONT Work Here  in  Plymouth, MN
Current Employee - If You Are Under 30 DONT Work Here in Plymouth, MN

    Pros

-Semi-Flexible working hours (Can flex first two hours of the day)
-let you keep Frequent Traveler points (there will be lots of these)

    Cons

-Long Travel times without any compensation besides daily food allowances, hotel and car
-You will not be promoted, unless you are from Europe
-They expect you to be at a customer site for 60-80+ hours a week when you are on the road and then you are required to work the normal 40-45+ in the office after you return, even if you worked the weekend
-People only get promotions after 10-15 years of working long hours for the company
-You will watch younger people from Switzerland get promoted over USA people
-Company DOES NOT care about your personal life, They will send you away for weeks on hours of notice
-They only care about making more money
-Loud working environment, no cubicles, just pods.
-Everyone is a salesperson, they keep saying you should be amazed with the company and you a privileged to work here.

I would rather work at "Dilberts" company than at Buhler.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please change your management style, you will have a hard time getting people under the age of 30 if you keep treating employees as "expendable" resources.
