    I worked at Bulkmatic

    Pros

It pays the bills. It's a job. A few friendly people.

    Cons

Too many hours! No chain of command. Horrible communication. Favoritism is worse than I have ever seen. Extremely cut throat company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Go back to being a company that actually cares about its employees. Bring back Butch.

I have been working at Bulkmatic

    Pros

The company really stresses safety. They want attention to detail when it comes to security and making sure that we do everything we can to ensure a product that is handled with care and free of contaminents. They have training like no other bulk carrier that I've seen.

    Cons

Some equipment is older. Some of the terminals don't do as good a job as others to make sure the equipment is serviced properly. Some of the fault lies with the drivers because they don't report things that need to be repaired so mechanics can't know what to repair. Some just need to be replaced because of age.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sometimes it looks as though there is too much upper management.
