I have been working at Bullhorn full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Semi laid back work environment, young company. Bullhorn sells a great product that employees can truly get behind.

    Cons

Private Equity company controls nearly all company decisions. Growth has left good employees jobless. Bullhorn is becoming more and more corporate and no longer should ever be classified as a "startup"

I have been working at Bullhorn

    Pros

Proactive, outgoing culture. Exciting product. Amazing CEO. Great people, for the most part.

    Cons

Communication between departments can be lacking. Things have changed culturally as the company has grown. Not as personable anymore, but that happens when you expand to multiple cities/countries/continents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clearly depends on who your manager is, but several managers could serve well being a little more personable, and a little less robotic.

    Pros

    - Good executive level management
    - Work hard, play hard environment
    - Strong career development opportunities

    Cons

    - With the emphasis on speed and the constant changes, communication is sometimes lacking

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

With the large increase in hiring and a number of departures, make sure the culture remains tight knit and people don't start to feel expendable

I have been working at Bullhorn full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The company has a very strong culture. The leadership team is excellent and everyone knows where we're going. The company's growing fast and is constantly evolving.

    Cons

The flagship product had been tied to internet explorer for years and customers are frustrated by that. There's a new version that's awesome, but getting out to customers quickly will be a challenge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Preserve the small company feel as we grow. Listen to the customers - that's what got us here in the first place.

I worked at Bullhorn full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I loved the start-up culture and leadership. It was really impressive to watch Art and the other founders lead the company through the 2008 economic crisis and position for growth going forward. I really liked the coworkers, benefits, location, etc. Really happy that I worked for the Horn.

    Cons

I left in 2011 so I missed the major acquisitions. I got out too soon!
