    Pros

Great culture and mostly great people to work with. Are somewhat flexible with working from home.

    Cons

Company is growing fast but doesn't seem able to support its growth. A lot of departments are understaffed while the company is focusing on making more $$$ in hopes of going public that they neglect roles that are not bringing in revenue. They take a reactive approach with customers and function like a start up rather than like the 500 employee company that they are. Executive Management is too involved directly with clients and bottom line decisions when they should be giving their employees more autonomy and authority to make these decisions. Annual reviews and career progressions are basically a joke here, standard raises are about 3% and promotions about 5%, bonuses average about 7-10%. In terms of job growth you'd have to leave the company if you're ambitious at all. Departments are not willing to develop and train current employees to grow within the company and take on new roles.

    Advice to Management

A successful company invests in its employees. Focus on your current employees, train and develop them to grow with you rather than leave you. Compensate them fairly to drive results and motivation. And most of all, LISTEN to your employees and their needs, rather than pushing commands down the chain. Everyone is always complaining, and a lot of people are quitting, when this could be easily avoided.

    Pros

I love working at Bullhorn. The technology is innovative and the people are passionate about what they do. Upper-management is very approachable and they really are committed to maintaining a great culture. Work/life balance is very healthy here.

    Cons

None that I have experienced. No company is perfect but Bullhorn is transparent and as we continue to grow the team is open about any challenges and works together to overcome them.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

Small teams allow you to get plenty of experience, just have to make sure your vocal about wanting to be involved. Company as a whole had a friendly, laid-back vibe.

    Cons

No obvious cons. When offered a full time position post-internship, salaries didn't seem too flexible, but that was to be expected at entry level.

    Pros

Plenty of opportunities to booze it up

    Cons

everything else. I worked here for 5 months and not once did i get to even look at the product i was attempting to sell. i'd get on the phone and recite our "message to win" (super corny company mantra) and tell customers how we're obsessed with speed and are the easiest platform to use. it was like a blind man trying to sell real estate. i was also told that i'd be working 9-5 upon accepting the job. i have no problem putting in extra hours and doing what needs to be done, but not for 35k!!! my advice is go elsewhere if you are looking for a BDR position

    Advice to Management

blind selling does not work for everyone. unless you want a team of snake oil salesmen, try educating your new hires on how the product works. and don't lie about working hours, be upfront.

Management was very immature. Tons of turnover except a select few. My advice is to pass this company up.

    Pros

Art Papas is a great CEO. Approachable and easy to communicate with. Bullhorn is a market leader and works hard to do the best thing for their customers and employees. Terrific culture. Many careers have been established at Bullhorn. Most departments, in my experience, have their priorities set in the right place.

    Cons

Some incredibly difficult customers (staffing firms). Cool location, but not the easiest to commute to.

    Advice to Management

Delegate more to your staff. Have confidence in their abilities. Take educated risks more.
