Pros
Good pay, company communicates its brand and vision and business performance. Hard workers recognised.
Cons
Push to get casual staff to sign part time contracts = lower hourly rate.
Warehouses get very hot in summer, also concrete floor is not fun to stand/walk on all day.
Advice to Senior Management
Put more floor staff on in each aisle. When I have gone back as a customer, have been very frustrated by lack of staff.
Pros
The team is more like an extended family than co workers, the management also try to give as much support and help to your family needs in regards to time off and moral support. There is emphasis on personal growth and teamwork through values, not perfect all the time but on the whole a good system.
Most of the management team are very approachable and by and large do listen and try to act to fix problems or queries.
Cons
A few of the team members really do not seem to be able to grasp the concept of team work, and seem to live in their own little world, with little thought to taking initiative and doing things on their own, they seem to like a bit of hand holding.
The company really needs to work on the instore night fill system as from my experience it seems to be failing miserably at the moment to the detriment of the customers, the departments and the company as a whole.
Advice to Senior Management
Some of you need to stop being wrapped up in your own little world.
