Pros
It is a great company, especially because it is very international (for a French company) and it allows its employees to be in contact with many people from many countries and different cultures all the time. Therefore, it is compulsory to develop your technical and communication skills while working for bureau veritas. Moreover, it is a company where ethics are at the very core of the job so one should know what is good and what is bad. It means that you don't work for Bureau Veritas for money but essentially for what is important for you in your job.
Cons
It can be denied that the salaries are not the best salaries you can get for the level of skills required. You have to get a very good knowledge and technical backgrounds of what you are doing, so it takes time to travel and to go abroad, as there is a huge responsibility engaged by the company in the work it does. Sometime as well one should think that there is too much white collar jobs, but it is absolutely necessary in this job.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior Management should not forget that it is very important to motivate employees, and that there is too much responsibilities to be tired, so being too demanding is not a very good idea because it could be very stressful.
