Advice to Senior Management
Stay very organized and don't just tell your employees they messed up, instead, explain how to fix the mistakes that were made. Let the assistant manager do some extra work and not just work as a shift manager in the store.
Pros
Working at Burger King has strengthened my professional nature and my multi-tasking skills. I have been able to meet and socialize with new acquaintances thanks to my employement at this establishment.
Cons
I never liked working the drive thru. Being transfixed to be under a certain time limit always makes me feel rushed. Though this is a quick-serve restaurant, employees have to be given time to reassure the orders are correct to give the customers utmost satisfaction. This has unfortunately lead to horrid mistakes when it comes to handing out orders, resulting in the couple of write ups I received. Each time I made a huge mistake, I would feel less of a good worker as a couple of my co-workers and manager would scold me for the mishap. In turn, I never felt I belonged there with the other employees because I take my time to analyze a situation, while the environment there is always fast paced.
Advice to Senior Management
All managers should arrive to a consensus of how they will lead their employees. Two of the managers instruct the employees to wait until they are told to clock in, while the other manager treats the employees like adults, telling them to clock in at their start time. How can responsible future American workers be created if they cannot even clock in during their start time like they should? When leading employees, it should be done calmly without the use of extreme yelling.
Pros
The people I worked with were terrific and the work pace and load was not difficult. It was a good job to have in highschool.
Cons
I never received an increase in the puny hours I got there for the entire year I work with them. I hardly ever worked more than a three hour shift.
Advice to Senior Management
Do not over hire new people to the point that only a few employees in the store actually get hours.
Pros
Get to eat for free
Cons

Great tradition, competitive advertising, pay and benefits. Excellent quality standards with menu items, food and guest accountability. Company is reinventing itself. An interesting time in BK history.

Age old problem of workforce issues, Gossip issues bring down morale, and the company isn't very proactive in addressing this issue. Threats scare but Action gets the attention.
