I worked at Burger King as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

Good training, good benefits, good food! Great Management team, great coworkers.

    Cons

Need to update their Blackwood, New Jersey location to compete with the newer style franchise showing up in the area. The interstate is near by and would generate a good return on their investment, specifically

I have been working at Burger King part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Entree Level:
    Free Fries/Onion Rings
    Free Fountain Drinks
    Ast. Mananger+:
    Free Food
    Free Drinks

    Competitive Pay.

    Cons

If you're looking for an entry level job at burger king, as in part-time, it isn't the right job for you. The pay is questionable at best, and the labor is terrible.

Upon being payed every two weeks, and eight hour shifts, the job does not satisfy the income. They speak of team work, but they really only boss you around. You ask for something, you'll most likely be told to do it yourself. Not at all what they make it seem like.

You are not covered by their health insurance, but you still pay for it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Perhaps, allow more benefits to part-time workers.

I worked at Burger King full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Time goes by fast, good for your first job and if it is temporary or for experience.

    Cons

Rude customers that think they are better than you,. no benefits, managers were illegally docking staff's pay by saying our register's were short, we'd be threatened to be written up if we didn't let them cash our check through them and let them dock us. They got away with it cause I was young and stupid and some were in compromising states in their life's like probation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hope you guys got fired for being horrible human beings!

I worked at Burger King full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I DID get a lot of hours so my BI Weekly checks weren't ALL too bad.
Truly learned the value of hard earned money.

    Cons

I worked for minimum wage ($7.25/hr).
I did every possible job besides managing, EACH SHIFT.
Didn't get FREE food, only got a discount if my meal was over 4 dollars.
You're not treated like a person.
Other employees goofed off while i was making all the food.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you see it's getting hectic, offer assistance or send someone to help fill ridiculous orders, instead of expecting the impossible.
