    Pros

    Management can be friendly.

    Cons

    Loss prevention was not helpful.
To much work, for little pay.
    Only needed during weekends.
If you ask for certain days off, more than likely they won't give it to you.
I got a .10 cent raise for being there 1 year.
They schedule 1 person for all of women's, yes All of women's. (plus, petite, juniors, lingerie, and regular women)

    Advice to Management

Schedule more than 1 person for the departments. Understand that the sales associates are busy as well, don't expect just 1 person to get everything done by themselves.

    Pros

Some good things about working at Burlington is you learn more on customer service, get a little knowledge on inventory, assist customers, and meet some good coworkers.

    Cons

However, the downfall with working here was my supervisor was way too nosey, the long hours during the holidays, shortage of staff so I had to cover others shifts, and can' t take a day off unless its an emergency in December.

    Advice to Management

Not much advice but to help employees who have to work long hours a day.

    Pros

A job is a job is a job. At least you're not unemployed. The work is easy. As easy as it should be for that amount of money. Facility is nice and up to date. Lots of incentives for the employees to do well.

    Cons

I didn't have high expectations so I wasn't disappointed. No cons.

    Pros

Good people, friendly atmosphere, and the work is not difficult.

    Cons

Dealing with customers always trying to get one over on you, disorganized, and there is a lot of consumers but not enough cashier, so your consistently working, and customer service goes down. IT makes the customers angry, and then they have problems with you, thinking you can actually help the issue.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you schedule people appropriately, and be more organized.

    Pros

Talking to the customers............ some of them............... BCF is a ok place to work at until you get something much better. Also getting paid every week is nice.

    Cons

You do not get paid enough for the amount of work you do, not only that but you also don't get enough hours to get paid enough money for real life.

    Advice to Management

Burlington Coat Factory makes enough money to hire FULL TIME employees, make it happen.
