    Pros

Friendly co-workers, most of the time you work with somebody else around. You dont need extreme supervision. Easy going.

    Cons

Most likely you start getting pay around minimum wage. Work on your feet, raise and bonus are not too common.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Motivate employees with other compensations other than a pay check.

    Pros

You work with some great people, usually.. Would be an ideal job for a full time student or someone in need of a 2nd part time job.

    Cons

Poor hours, under staffed and lacking proper managements.. Wages are a little lacking though above minimum wage, impossible to live off of if its your only source of income.

I have been working at Burlington Coat Factory part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The only good reasons to work here are that you SOMETIMES get a %25 discount, and as an employee you don't have to pay the $5 layaway fee.

    Cons

Excluding the store manger, all of the other managers are annoying and/or rude with crappy attitudes. They waaaay expect too much out of the employees & complain when you don't finish what you are supposed to do even if it's too much work for one person to handle. I also wasn't trained to do much beyond my first day, they just wait for you to mess up, then tell you that you're doing or did everything wrong. You also don't get the schedule for the week until the day before that week starts...which is EXTREMELY inconvenient.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The weekly schedule should be available before the night before.
HIRE MORE CASHIERS; how tf are the floor associates supposed do our jobs when we spend %50 of the day on the on the register!?!?!??
