I have been working at Burroughs Payment Systems full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Middle management is holding the company together. Great service technicians from Unisys days

    Cons

Leadership lacks focus and direction. Has no idea about sales and client focusing activities. Take orders or heads roll. No commitment to long term strategy if there is a strategy at all

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Marlin Equity should have senior management retire and move middle management to the top and give them one year to turn the business back around to the legacy it once was.

When Burroughs split from Unisys they took too much management and not enough workers.

I have been working at Burroughs Payment Systems full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You will definitely not be bored as you will have to do at least 4 jobs.

    Cons

Sales is allowed to do what they want without any regard of the impact on fellow employees or system limitations. They lowball all employees except sales and management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You do not work for Unisys. You do not have thousands of employees. Its time to downsize management to an appropriate level and pay other employees a fair wage.

I worked at Burroughs Payment Systems full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

They recognized the UAW contract, however, they cleverly were able to break into the contract mid-stream to try to reduce wages even further.

    Cons

Salary began treating us with less respect, more responsibility, less wage. Salary also wanted us to "dumb down" starting in early 2011 after a couple of years earlier (Fall of 2009) sent us to classes on-site to learn new skills. I was treated with more respect in the U.S. Navy. Unisys stopped our pension benefits in 2006. Personally I was done at 15 years, and worked for them another 6 years. However, the UAW also takes some of the blame because they were of basically no help those 6 years. My total seniority there, 21 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Sell.
