Pros
You will wear many hats
Learn Ecommerce
Move quickly and get things done. Don't have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a project moving
Laid-back atmosphere
Everyone is young
Get a title very quickly
Cons
Management does not reward those that should be rewarded
Move first, deal with consequences later
Owned by Japanese now (Rakuten) and they will grind you to death with their demands, targets, and KPIs
Not the greatest reputation from the industry
Management does not have management experience
Some managers fell into that spot when their boss leaves,maven if they are unqualified
Advice to Senior Management
Give annual reviews
Reward the employees that deserve it
Back off on drinking so much of the Rakuten Kool-Aid

Great corporate culture - casual work environment where people tend to be pretty happy at work.

Sometimes the corporate structure felt a bit disorganized.

A little bit more formality might be good in certain situations.

Always Busy working on different opportunities
Smart Leadership - keeps you enthused about how you're helping move the company forward
Free Lunch & Drinks for all employees - saves a lot of money
Cons
Don't always recognize that people have a home life too - emphasis on long hours
Not the most aggressive compensation package out there
Advice to Senior Management
Relax a little - Leadership needs to spend a little more time with their families - they set the example and work hard, though, they overdo it.
