C L King & Associates Reviews
Pros – Some good people work here
Cons – Management-dysfunctional at best. Not very good morale... Actually awful
Advice to Senior Management – Talk to the productive workers about what actually works...
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – As an intern they will try to help you learn if you ask for help.
It's also a pretty relaxed environment for the most part.
The people are really nice and friendly.
The hours for me were 7-5, which I thought was pretty good.
They're very understanding in helping you get up to speed on how to do things.
Cons – It's a really small firm.
They don't hire first year analysts.
They don't pay well for interns. The pay was a stipend, but they do tell you that upfront in the interview. It was $350 a week for me and that's after they increased it from $250 the previous year.
The work is not too hard. I was mostly working with excel spreadsheets.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay your interns enough so that they can actually afford to live in the city without spending money they haven't earned from you.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – You learn a lot, you get to do real work some of the time, and some of the people are really smart.
Cons – Some of the people are not very helpful, as if they don't even want you there. They only hire interns, not real analyst or administrative staff so you end up doing a lot of busy work.
