    Good Work for Students

Study Session Facilitator (Current Employee) San Luis Obispo, CA

ProsThe hours are fit around your classes which is nice. Everyone understands that you are there for an education and a job is secondary to that. Most of the people are fairly laid back which is always a plus.

ConsPay raises are almost nonexistent and when you do finally get one, they raise you less than a dollar an hour most of the time.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide better ways to move up as well as provide better incentive to the working environment.

It was a fulfilling experience where I learned a lot.

Lab Assistant (Former Employee) San Luis Obispo, CA

ProsCal poly is one of the best places to learn. As an assistant you work under professors and learn a lot.

ConsThe only real complaint I had was that I had to be in San Luis obispo, which doesn't really seem like a negative to most people. Overall it was great.

I had a great time working on campus.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsClocking in between classes is great--I don't have to leave the campus.
Faculty and staff understand midterm/final season and adjust work hours accordingly.

ConsThere aren't many career opportunities in my field and the pay is average--which are both understandable.
