Pros – distance, and it was paying well
Cons – politics, bad management and no cafeteria
Advice to Senior Management – unpredictable

Pros – Good, hardworking people. Competent, caring management in operations centers. Good sense of community within the local offices with different events like holiday lunches.
Cons – Incompetent, detached remote Sr Management. CEO lacks the skills to lead and manage company effectively (flies by seat of the pants management style) by making bad business decisions and not delivering on slick talking rhetoric. Horribly outdated technology. Very management heavy- ineffective sales force-unable to produce new business regardless of the financial status of the company, especially when times were "good" economically.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your front line operations people, they know what they are doing and what they need to perform their jobs better than you do. Fire the CEO and get somebody in there that knows what they are doing so he doesn't drive yet another company into the ground.
