College applicants accepted if you'll work for minimum wage and don't want a career here.

    Pros

Good pay for established people, if you can get hired

    Cons

They are not looking to promote from within, nor do they seem to care about advancing people through the ranks. They are simply a company looking to hire the next generation of people at the lowest possible salary. They are a business, being a business. They make no excuses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't maintain quality work if you don't allow people to grow in your company. Experienced employees are worth something and they can provide higher quality work with a much higher output than inexperienced people. CBS is a prime example of a company being penny wise and pound foolish.

Learned a lot about financial valuation and financial statements while working on a M&A REIT deal. Very out-of-the-ordinary experience.

Would have likes to work on the REIT more, invoices less, but overall great experience.

    Pros

Great people to work with, very good pay

    Cons

High pressure environment and too much turn over in management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Our station was in constant turmoil with 32 managers filling 4 positions in 3 years. No one was given enough time to succeed.

    Pros

Great place that treats you like family. If you can hack the time it takes to grow (given that its an older demo), then you can settle in pretty well here.

    Cons

Very hierarchal. Company seems to be stuck in its ways a bit, and lacks innovation at several levels of business management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Possible think about developing a competitive LDP program to bring in new talent that will move the company into the 2nd quarter of the 21st century. Cultural and leadership aspects of the company still feel like circa 1988.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
