I worked at CG Power Systems USA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay here was decent and the benefits were good.

    Cons

They have a nasty habit of firing employees who are facing a serious illness and they usually do it at the worst possible time. I saw this happen no less than four times during my time there. Upper management refuses to listen to the front line supervisors when it comes to production problems. Their answer to any problem is to fire someone.

    Advice to Management

You need to foster more employee loyalty instead of the divide and conquer method they are currently using. Pitting people against each other is no more than a dog fight using humans instead of dogs.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

    Good money and insurance plan.

    Cons

If you are salary you will work 50-60 hours a week and get paid for 40, they won't tell you that in the hiring process, I was lied to about the hours. All of management needs to be fired and start off with a fresh approach to running this dog and pony show. Too many meetings wasting hours of time and nothing gets accomplished. You will never be able to take your vacation because they are so short handed it will never get approved and if you do take off you will get phone calls on your personal phone from management because they are too incompetent to do your job for you while you are out and when you do come back you will have to catch up on the daily emails that range from 100-130 that you will have to answer back - DO NOT Take off more than ONE day at a time or you will be spending your weekends there too, and you better hope nothing medical happens to you while you are there. They do have this wonderful health plan but you will have to jump thru hoops to take any time off to take care of yourself. You better not have a family or be involved with activates outside of work because you will never get to enjoy those things as long as you are a prisoner of CG. REMEMBER...all you are is just a NUMBER, because that's all they care about.

    Advice to Management

You are a bunch of bullies who have no compassion or respect for the people that break their backs trying to do a good job for you. You are a thankless group of people that creates a toxic environment for everyone. Someone needs to come in and replace all of the management.
