    Pros

Fast passed work environment with many Type A's , which is good if you like getting things done and don't like fluff work politics. You will be challenged and given opportunity to shine, at the same time Sr National Account Manger and Directors are worked hard and the first to be fired when business isn't growing. Customers are considered "king" and get the attention and customer attention needed to grow the business.

    Cons

This company is focused on Pallet business and not 100% open to New Projects. New product projects have a typical life of 2yrs and team a majority of the members are fired if the project isn't over the top successful.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within and screen well the outside senior executives not familiar with the CHEP ABC model, they only mess it up and confuse their direct reports.

  6. Good place, but have some one to look out for you.

    Pros

Compensation is good, Work is demanding but comes with flexibility. Provides a good 401k match, right amount of PTO, tuition reimbursement, a good health benefits coverage and encourages healthy living habits.

    Cons

It has shifted from Growth driven to "cash cow" model. So, it is filled too many VPs, and Directors. Unique industry, non-portable outside of this company.

  7. CHEP is a wonderful company to work for. I absolutely enjoyed my time there. There is plenty of room for advancement.

    Pros

    Cons

Some favoritism as well and really hard to move to other departments.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Interesting work within an interesting market segment.

    Cons

Overall just a poor work environment. The IT systems are outdated which causes a major bottleneck in completing the most routine tasks. A lot of the deadlines are very unrealistic and tight. The company is very focused on short run results and very narrow. Also there is zero diversity at the upper levels of management. Overall I would not recommend this company to a friend.

    Pros

    Good pay and benefits.

    Cons

Poor leadership, unjust and serious moral/integrity issues. Lack of positive work/life balance. Employees working in fear of speaking up due to lack of moral. Not worth the pay and benefits. Employees that have been there for years and who are assets continue to be driven away.

    Advice to Management

You've lost key players and will continue to do so. Employees who truly cared about working for CHEP. It doesn't matter how much you love your job, your leadership team can make or break that. The current leadership is running CHEP into a hole. Reevaluate the moral/integrity of the company culture.
