I worked at CIBC as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Good place to gain banking experience. The perks of being an employee are okay. The resources for employees are okay as well. Management is friendly and challenges you within your position.

    Cons

It is very hard to advance within the company. It is better to gain experience in your position and then pursue other options. Compensation is lower compared to other banks. Do not recommend staying at this bank in the long run.
