Lack of recognition
Advice to Senior Management
It's an intresting place to work but the senior management fail staff.. Therefore in the last two years lots of good staff have chosen to leave, its down to management style and distrust rather than the work which is intresting.
Pros
Friendly Staff, great pay and benefits
Cons
No chance of progression, promised the world upon joining but never able to fulfill my potential as the company picks and chooses very deliberately the people it wants to progress.
Advice to Senior Management
Dont promise what you cannot deliver
Pros
There are some very good people here, and I think there's finally a commitment to fixing some of the problems. But is it too little too late for the current generation of employees? Future generations will probably have things better as it settles down.
Cons
No-one knows what's going on, and there is a mysterious way of selecting people to be groomed for greatness. And if you're not one of those people, you're probably going to be offshored.
Advice to Senior Management
Be as open as possible, and start praising people for jobs well done - and offer fair criticism for jobs done badly. Also, start talking career progression and training before last of the motivated people leave.
Pros
Young company. Nice kitchen, gym membership. Health and life insurance. Fruit baskets weekly. Cooperative co-workers.
Cons
Below market salary. Broken air conditioning. Poor guidelines and project management. Poor middle management
Advice to Senior Management
Test ideas before implementation
