    I worked at CME Group

    Pros

There is talent here, and the people seem genuinely acting in the best interest of company, however this fluctuates from department to department.

    Cons

Glacier movement/momentum via bureaucracy ever encountered. Period.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Cut the workforce by 20%.

I worked at CME Group full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent company if you look like the majority of people in management.
Recommend company if they looked like majority management.

    Cons

Retailiation if go 2HR and they will resort to lies to get you fired. Lynching of careers needs to stop.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Because the bias occurs at varying levels of management (Directors, Executive Directors) only the upper echelon levels of management (CEO, CIO) can do anything about this very biased environment. Look at the numbers of different groups of staff members and see what levels they are in. There is a pattern that the manager of a specific racial group are told to give that staff member negative performance feedback, regardless of if it is deserved or not. This used to be a decent place to work for everyone, but a select group of managers have determined that CME Group had too many members of a certain ethinicity and have taken steps to get rid of them, by any means necessary.

    Pros

    Cons

MAJOR politics in action. Promotions are less about performance and more about coolness factor

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

think about the peons...they are technically the ones keeping the lights on. pay attention to people's work ethic and how much they accomplish in a day. stop worrying about who was out for drinks that night
