    Pros

"Friendly" atmosphere and better work/life balance when compared to other firms. Some teams are highly regarded in the market. Good employee benefits.

    Cons

Focus on being a "European" firm means that it automatically falls short when compared to competitors with a global or transatlantic presence. Global deals and exposure are therefore not are prevalent at CMS.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Outlook should be more global if the firm wants to compete with the bigger players in the market.

    Pros

While still a quite a large firm, the culture remains quite personal and it doesn't really have that 'small cog in a big wheel' feel. Energy team has top class work if that's where your interests lie

    Cons

While a big player in certain areas like energy, the firm lags behind the magic/silver circle heavyweights when it comes to other areas

If found outstanding lawyer being loyal and contributing a lot to the growth of the office, it is advisable to appreciate this devotion and treat this lawyer a bit differently and not to say all the time everybody gets the same salary raise, same bonus etc - it is defined by HQ
