    Pros

    Good people and good industry. Lots of opportunities but you own your career path. No one takes care of it for you. Fair time off but expectations are high

    Cons

    Sometimes long work hours and significant stress related to achieving targets. Compensation philosophy is not well explained or understood. Lots of complaining about lack of job growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I am management. Advice to the directors. Loose your current pay structure and allow us to give our deserving employees a raise. Not one of my employees have received a raise in the past 6 or 7 years. Maybe that is one reason the turn over is so incredibly high.

    Pros

    There are many opportunities to lead and advance your skill set if you are motivated. Great benefits, especially company 401k contributions and health insurance.

    Cons

    Limited opportunity for raises for employees not motivated to advance their skills (no annual cost of living increase). Matrix organizational structure leads to functionally conflicting priorities. Work-life balance is not a priority for much of management.

    Pros

    Not much actually. If you are a senior director and up, the benefits are quite attractive.

    Cons

    Everything else.

    Very poor management (globally). There's not a global company culture - It only matters that you are Italian. That's the key decision maker. Independently of your skills.

    Heavily political company.

    Thinking on innovation, improvements or changes is a blasphemy.

    Micromanagement is not acceptable. Major changes are required at top levels.
    Low paid & Low skills are a major roadblock to the company growth.
    Business roadmap must be consistent and supported by facts. Not by political decisions.

    Pros

    Company and industry are very complex and there is a lot of opportunity to develop new skills and learn new things if you are willing to take on challenges. 401k plan is outstanding. Health benefits are good too. I am also happy with my salary for now. Work life balance is also pretty good. People are really nice.

    Cons

    There are no raises. You will never get a cost of living increase. Bonus plan is bogus as well if you are not at a certain level. Because of this turn over is extremely high and nobody knows exactly what is going on. Training is non existent. Not because nobody is willing to help, but try finding someone who knows what's going on. Management is very poor. They only care about meeting their numbers and agendas by any means possible and not acknowledging what reality is saying. They do not care about you as a human being and if it suits their purposes they won't hesitate to throw you under the bus. There is no formal career development. You are only a number here. Morale sucks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take it for what it's worth and move on. There are some good opportunities to learn some complex things and develop certain skill sets, albeit on your own, in an environment where who cares if you make mistakes and fumble along the way. Learn and develop as much as you can on their dime and time and in 3 years when you're fully vested take your decent 401k nest egg and use that talent that you've developed at Cnh's expense and put it to good use to add value at a company that will recognize and value it.

    If you are not in a position where you are learning new things and are bored, get out now. You're wasting your time and talents on this train wreck.

    Pros

    The people, the facilities, the flexibility of the job. Upper management often lets common sense win the day. Opportunities for job growth if you're willing to change departments / roles.

    Cons

    Low morale, management didn't shield lower level employees from upper level BS. No urgency to promote within your own group.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The compensation system makes a toxic environment - bring back annual raises. Engineers need 1 week mandatory operating equipment in the field. PLM (performance review process) make about 2 months of the year completely toxic for morale.
