    Pros

The starting salary is decent with a raise at 6months and a year. Annual raises based on performance.

    Cons

They do not staff enough people so service levels bottom out constantly. Management pads the service level numbers so they look good but that only alters the forecasting for the future. The sales targets are a joke - they are way too high. Very few people actually make the target and thus get commission. Scheduling can and will force you in on your weekends off. Seniority is a joke because they change the rules all the time. Management is not concerned with employee morale at all.

    Advice to Management

Give employees their seniority back! Give employees their birthday off!

    Pros

Great benefits. Competitive salary. RRSP contributions. Great top management. Enjoyed going to work every day. Fun atmosphere. Lots of perks like concert and hockey tickets.

    Cons

Don't promote from within. Therefore leading the way to Unqualified middle management. NO training. Segregation. No team building. Antisocial middle management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. They sometimes know first hand how things work as they experience it every day. Look around there are quite a few people unhappy.

    Pros

Medical, Dental, RSP matching contributions, discounted or free cable services

    Cons

Extremely hard to get ahead in this company. Raises, bonuses, and advancement based on a mathematical formula, not on you personally. AHT, Average handle time on calls is the most important factor in this and is king. This is what they base everything on. Pay is below average for the amount of work. Management does not care about you, only AHT. The base salary was higher in previous years, they do not pay as much now. You are expected to work any and all shifts and the scheduling is all over the place, which makes it impossible to work another job on the side. This is intended. The company barely has enough parking for everyone, or enough seats during peak hours, and if you have trouble finding either, they will count you as late.

    Advice to Management

Treat people with respect and reject the AHT gods. Make the work/life balance more favorable for your employees. And increase the base pay, the job is difficult enough and moral is terrible, so pony up some more dough.

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits to start with teeny tiny raises. Discounted cable, internet and phone are a plus. Good co-workers make it bearable.

    Cons

A few years ago was a decent place to work. Good management, clear policies. Last couple of years, management has been overcome by a desire to change for the sake of change, the good has been thrown out with the bad, and chaos rules. Those in charge have no idea what their departments do or how to achieve their goals. Bean counting, tracking and reports are more important than customer service. Ridiculous KPIs are in conflict with ability to help customers both in the call centre and in the field. Work/Home balance is awful due to poor scheduling. Cutbacks, frequent layoffs/terminations, good people quitting. Employee engagement survey results abysmal. Expressed values have no relationship to practice. Even the building is filthy now.

    Advice to Management

If upper managements goals are to throw away thousands of dollars every day, make their employees miserable and ultimately, their customers, they are going about things the right way. Better idea would be to realize mistakes have been made, put qualified people in charge, and try to fix the damage.

free cable internet with discounted PVR with all channels including TMN, Have social club, and great prizes to motivate the staff. Go all out on Christmas party. Have BBQ days, ice cream days..etc.. lots of perks

    Cons

Very strict with complience. If have to go to bathroom, messes with your time. Your calls are recorded and marked. Very strict with what you have to say (script) in calls and make sure upsell..so many things to hit. hard to get high scores all time. Hard to advance-unless your from Bell

    Advice to Management

Practice what you teach with no phones or personal use of computer/facebook and cell phones...

    Pros

Good wages and benefits and opportunity to move to various positions within company.

    Cons

Senior management seems disconnected from Ontario consumer and employee needs. Tend to make decisions based on francophone experiences

    Advice to Management

Promote in senior ranks more English speaking managers and seriously act on employee survey suggestions.
