I have been working at CPL Resources full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great team spirit within the business, amazing leaders who let you set the bar as high as you like, always given a challenge, fully supported in every way possible! Senior staff are all very approachable. Great competitions run throughout the business for high achievers such as trips to NYC / Spain etc which are a great bonus incentive!

    Cons

Remuneration benefits aren't astounding, but the opportunity to earn outweighs this in my opinion. The parking in the area is very expensive and there isn't a staff car park, so you're probably best with public transport.

    Pros

CPL is a great place to work, the opportunities are limitless, the people are fantastic, the management are encouraging and enable you to do the best job possible. Hard work is rewarded.

    Cons

It is a target driven environment. If this doesn't suit you, then don't work here. It won't suit you.

    Pros

Great people in the business, so you'll always have fun at work, and have great team mates. The management teams are very supportive and will never knock an idea before giving it a chance. If you're target driven, you can do amazingly well here, both financially and in terms of company-wide recognition!

    Cons

Different parts of the business work in different ways, not always to the very same high standard which might frustrate some. If you're not target driven, and willing to work hard, it probably won't be the most enjoyable job, or place to work. Promotions aren't handed to you on a plate, you need to let your manager know what you want, and find out what's needed to be done to get it (which means when you get it, you really deserve it!)

    Pros

It is impossible for me to write anything good about CPL.

    Cons

First of all they lie to you about everything. First day in my new job i found out that working hours are not 9-5 Monday to Friday as they told me and 50 other people but 8-12 pm and you will have to work weekends as well. ''If you don't like it you can quit'' that's what you will hear from hiring manager. Also they say that if you think it is not for you you can always email them and they will find you something else- DO NOT believe that. First of all they never reply for emails and second they are only interested in putting people into positions and get pay for this. No one cares about you. Wages are extremely low, no benefits, they don't pay for sick leave, you will be lucky if they pay for your days-off. Many mistakes in payrolls and no one is willing to correct it. Working with them is the worse experience in my life.
Be careful with the contracts- is written in the way that you won't be able to fight for your rights or get anything back.
We have joke in the office what CPL stands for? Well, Cheating Professional Liars.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't lie to people
Don't use this awful tricks in contracts

    Pros

I felt this job was a good oppurtunity to interact with customers, often irate - this gave good experience of dealing with customers

    Cons

high turnover of staff - I left after 6 months, at which point I was one of the longest serving members. Money's not great, and varies greatly between your team - some on minimum, some on more - all doing same job.

Great people/teams to work with. Very helpful in all kinds of problems.
Canteen is excellent, Lots or parking spaces.
Great experience in dealing with clients in a fast past environment(Not always though it had its slow days).
Really nice spacious offices. Really large desks.

    Cons

Really poor pay and no way of negotiating.
    No overtime, no sick pay.
Hours are set 8-5 can be a looong day.
Not much opportunity to move up.
High turn over of staff. Most stay for a few months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like human beings. Get rid of first week orientation it is completely pointless a waste of time and completely irrelevant once on your desk.
