Cons – Not much room for advancement internally. Being a small company; it cannot afford to open up too many positions, especially in upper management.

You cross paths with many other techs.

Cons – Sometimes not enough information is provided prior to the beginning of the project.

Advice to Senior Management – Allow the people you hire for work, do the work they were hired to do.
Trust that they are professional, and will be if allowed to apply their experience.
