I have been working at CRC Health Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I've been with the Company for a little over two years and can confidently say that from day one I've felt that I make a difference. I've had the pleasure of working with a great team and an exceptional supervisor. I am told on a regular basis that my work matters and am recognized when I do a good job. I feel that my opinion is taken into account and that my manager values me as a part of her team.

    Cons

If an employee has an issue with his/her employment they should speak with their management. I personally feel comfortable voicing any questions or concerns with my management team and also feel it would be better received than writing my opinions in this review. At this time, I do not have any cons worth mentioning.

    Pros

Coworkers and Management are like family. Fair wages. No unexpected over time "ever." Benefits are okay.

    Cons

No overtime. Huge amounts of paperwork. Not quite into the technology advancements of IT yet. A little tight with funding for basic and common needs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase wages, educational benefits need increased, make surrounding more professional.

I worked at CRC Health Group as a contractor (more than 8 years)

    Pros

We were able to admit almost anyone who met criteria despite their financial situation. That in itself, made going to work each day a blessing. That happened as a result of perseverence and generosity of management. Unusual, and wonderful

    Cons

Too many chefs in the kitchen. At any one time the client may have four different therapist each taking various tasks of treatment. Poor communication and charting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Revert to Primary therapist who does more for fewer clients.

I have been working at CRC Health Group full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Above average training for new and existing employees. Management is always available and solicits feedback. Morale is a little above average. Would recommend company.

    Cons

Salary is mediocre. No opportunity to negotiate employment contract.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay needs to be commiserated with experience and education. Negotiating salary was a non starter.

I have been working at CRC Health Group

    Pros

Great working environment. You can really tell that the staff care about the patients. Great teamwork - everybody will give everything they have to help their peers.

    Cons

The workload can be difficult to manage. Leaders seem to be over-extended, which can cause more complaints as staff and patients don't feel heard. Vacation time is lower than the national average for new employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a look at the burnout - not only your line staff, but your leaders as well.
Revamp your vacation policies to be more competitive with others in the market.
