I have been working at CROSSMARK part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I I left the Nutro Company and joined Crossmark almost 2 years ago. I'm a Nutrition Consultant, from Marlborough, Massachusetts. I'm working part-time. I happen to think the pay is okay plus several opportunities to grow within the company. A person can totally switch careers because, Crossmark services several companies and they are everywhere . I'm thinking of relocating to a warmer climate. The nice part is, I could probably pick right up with the Company in Florida. Their training program is excellent and they strive to improve it. I remember, how hard it was applying to this company 2 yrs .ago. That application process was completely done over. Debbie

    Cons

I have not asked my manager for a pay hike but, if I did, I know she would look into it. I know, they have some sort of retirement plan for part timers. They also reimburse you for travel, gas, printing documents and training, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Multitasking is very important here. Try to always get back to the people who work for you. Even if its not of importance to you, get back to your employee and say, go to Tech for that or, go to HR for that. The Company is huge and each manager has so many people under then. I 've heard some people mention at meetings that they feel unnoticed and wait long times to get answers to solutions from their Supervisors. When companies get this big, employees just feel like a number. I however nag my boss till she gets back to me and we get alone.

I have been working at CROSSMARK part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Pay, work environment, ease of work, get to talk to people all day.

    Cons

While starting salary is high, it is the same for everyone. It is a bit aggravating when you work much harder to promote the product as apposed to your co-workers and are paid an equal amount.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand the difference between an "impulse buy" product and a "non-impulse buy" product and change the goals accordingly. Sometimes the goals are realistic and obtainable, but often they are not. After changing the goals, offer rewards for employees for continually meet them.
