I have been working at CROSSMARK full-time

    Pros

Some of the folks working for this company are amazing and smart.

    Cons

Pay was only mediocre for the line of work, not much value given to work life balance, at least not at the salaried level, a lot of turmoil from the corporate office on how things should be done, not great communication regarding changes and support for those changes to be rolled out successfully.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    SLOW DOWN!!!!
Roll out something, train the players, measure the results, then tweak it or consider making adjustments.

I have been working at CROSSMARK part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Internet based, Good pay for part-time Event Specialist, checks are cut every Friday, everyday you have something different to do, must be self motivated, no micro managers

    Cons

Lack of training, not consistent with the hours, the stores can be very cold, if you want more consistent hours you must become a team lead which they don't tell you that during the interview process. They hire anybody and throw them in hope they stay for awhile if not, they don't care they will hire somebody else. People leave mostly due to the lack of training and supervisor. Most team leaders have no idea how to lead and most supervisors don't listen anyway.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the team leaders in your stores, they are the ones that really know what is going on when you're not there. Schedule the hours across the work week so all get hours not just team leads.

Reporting same day by 10pm deadline. Home office in Texas, 2 hours ahead. When your internet goes down, or when you leave your camera at home or worse, lose your camera.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your part time employees with better respect, offer cost of living increases, give commission for the sales jobs you send us on.
