    Pros

Decent late model trucks. If you have a good FM, you'll get the mileage. Great companies and plenty of freight most days.

    Cons

Can do better at getting you home on time.
    Better pay, but that's everywhere.
No solo driver's, otherwise I'd still be there.
Too many days on the road if you enjoy family time or if you have a bad co-driver.

    Pros

There no good reason to work here. .. You can make more money flipping burgers at McDonald's. .

    Cons

Cancelled loads always, bad fleet managers, most drivers don't know how to drive, pay is horrible.. If you are in a contract , they basically own... you will never make good money with this company.
    .

    Advice to Management

Make the fleet managers stay on a truck for 28 days with the worst lead driver you have.. start showing respect to your drivers..

    Pros

Good trucks (some trailers REALLY suck)...most of the people (F/Ms, Maint., Payroll, etc.) are decent people trying to do a good job, but the system is screwed up so drivers forget that. Transflow allows you to get paid Tues and Thurs...Best advice? Get your training, get your experience (all newbies should team drive before trying to go solo)...finish your contract, then RUN!!

    Cons

OMG! Where to start?? Never, ever been on-time for Hometime...1 day for each week out for a maximum of 4 days...was out 3 months one time and only got 5 days home and the extra day was only because no load...F/Ms and other staff are SO overworked its amazing they remember your name...if your co-driver quits, YOUR pay gets dropped to the "solo rate" of .22 cpm! ...even as a trainer, if the student quits, fails, whatever MY pay got cut...I didnt even get my base rate! They finally gave Leads an extra .03cpms...ooooo! 6 years experience and I get dropped to .25cpm???...In all my time there, no accidents, no incidents, no speeding tickets, no deer strikes -- nothing....and what type of "positive reinforcement" did I get? ...Nothing...your paycheck is your reward...dont believe the "$40k first year with no experience"...lol...

    Advice to Management

Spend less time TALKING about how much you value safe, experienced "driving partners" and just a little more time DOING something to retain them

    Pros

95% no touch freight, drop and hook plus I get to travel the US while making money. Benefits for a single individual are great, 401k medical dental and vision care available.

    Cons

Hometime for an OTR driver is limited, a drag for a family person. A driver with no experience has to pay CRST back $40 a week for training travel and transportation to training location.

    Pros

No money needed for training up front. Went through school, got cdl, making decent money now after 4 years. They have the frieght and good long runs.

    Cons

A lot of the people they hire seem to be from homeless shelter, drug addicts or excons. Make sure u interview ur co-driver good and long before u live with them in a cage for 4 weeks. Went through 6 my first year.

    Advice to Management

Your trainers need more than 6 months experience, that is why your csa is so high.

    Pros

good safety training, might be ok for new drivers

    Cons

to much free running around for the company. having routes changed or interuptted for one of the " golden teams"

    Advice to Management

let your drivers do their job...an otr driver should not be changed to a city driver for your convience. offer a decent rate of pay for drivers that are sent all over the place looking for, or shuttlleing your trailers....15 dollars for tasks that may take all day...is not appropiate compensation
