I have been working at CSG

    Pros

Flexible schedule depending what campaign you are on. 40 hour work week. Relaxed atmosphere to an extent. They do let you makeup hours you miss.

    Cons

They let the in crowd be management without properly training them. It's a new company so pay is minimal 10.00hr no room for advancement no overtime mimimal benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get trained on your project properly and how to provide positive criticism. Always maintain a professional attitude. Get IT to work on broken computers.

    Pros

Great company, good attitudes, fair pay, great co-workers. The company has a great culture and promotes staff that are doing well. Good work life balance.

    Cons

Mid-west location, most of the work is mid-west, east coast. Travel, and on-site work required for many of the assignments.

I have been working at CSG full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility- they will work with you with your schedule, depending on which campaign you are on. Transparency- The CEO's are very forthcoming concerning the direction of the company

    Cons

The downside that I noted are two. First the company is still in it's start up phases so the culture is still being developed. Second some of the people in management do not care, ( I say this from working in management and having some behind doors conversations.) More emphasis needed on coaching and mentoring employees across the campaigns.

I worked at CSG as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

None. No really! None! I cannot think of one single advantage to working at CSG over any other company in Perth. There is nothing redeeming about this company unless you want an average pay and an above average work load laced with unreasonable expectations.

    Cons

Took over a company I worked for and within months destroyed the good morale, culture and ethos of that company. Then cut benefits and salaries. Dismissed all high paying (and experienced) consultants and replaced them with cheaper less experienced staff (for supposedly different roles), which ultimately was bad for clients and business. Chose their wording carefully to get around unfair dismissal laws.

I could go on but then it would be a rant and I have moved on so no point.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

simple: try putting your PEOPLE first.

I have been working at CSG full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

There is really nothing good I have to say except that for a few lucky people this company works.

    Cons

CSG took over the company I worked for and within weeks the morale went from fantastic to abysmal. All benefits and work/life incentives were immediately cut. Performing but highly paid management staff were let go, with minimal or no severance pay, while at the same time hiring of new (cheaper) staff took place, supposedly to fill different jobs, were given projects and work of those let go.

The most uncaring and unsympathetic management I have ever worked for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try thinking about your staff's well being as well as your bottom line.
