I worked at CSTV Networks as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Highly talented staff willing to share their knowledge. Great culture - great overall environment. Lots of exposure to other departments and top managers in those departments.

    Cons

Interns are not paid a salary.

I worked at CSTV Networks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Aside from saying you work for CBS Sports, there is no pro.

    Cons

Long hours, no overtime, no benefits for majority of employees - they use a loophole in the law to get away with treating their employees like crap.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start treating your employees like they are a part of something. Provide growth opportunities - not just jobs. Offer real training opportunities, cross-training, and educate supervisors on how to supervise and not just dictate/rule.

    I worked at CSTV Networks

    Pros

It's in sports, and it is ultimately an easy way to get into a field that is otherwise kind of tough to break into...It is overall an interesting field and the people at CSTV are top notch, people wise you can't expect much better than you'll get at CSTV...

    Cons

The pay is pretty low for the field it is in, typically working in the digital field means that you get paid what you are worth or at least closer to what you are worth, not really so at CSTV. The hours are not so good, you are also not really compensated adequately for working strange hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the pay of your employees

    I worked at CSTV Networks

    Pros

CSTV had incredibly nice people. The network has changed since I've been there so I don't know if the same people are there. Awesome offices

    Cons

Not too much responsibility in assignments given to me. Mainly research and administrative work but that is ok as an intern.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nothing special or specific to suggest. Really enjoyed my time there and the human resources department is one of the best in the business.
