Pros – You are you own boss. You go out at the beginning of the day, and when you finish the work you can go home.
Cons – CSX requires a lot of you. It is a lifestyle and a career. Also in the beginning of your career you can and probably will be furloughed quite a bit
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – Great people to work with.
Cons – No work/life balance for managers. If you don't write up enough T&E employees you are putting your job on the line. You only get promoted if you will move at the drop of a hat AND are in a certain click.

Advice to Senior Management – Get a Chief Transportation officer that can relate to their employees.
