    Pros

Excellent compensation. A high base salary for a search firm and competitive commission structure.

    Cons

Limited feedback and mentorship. Room for financial growth but not professional evolution. People don't seem to get reviewed accurately and bad performance is not handled at all.

    Advice to Management

A very hierarchical approach to management and team dynamic. Not very meritocratic or transparent. Those who are grossly under performing are left be without any additional coaching or investment. And those who are consistently underperforming are NEVER fired. Benefits package is nothing to write home about.
There is also no culture. It's a very money hungry, client focused environment and doesn't give you the pride to work there.

    Pros

Most consultants not too demanding, can work from home when you need to (but not recommended)
    friendly people.

    Cons

Cant think of any at the moment. I got lucky to work with a great team.

    Advice to Management

Get more staff in the billing dept.

    Pros

Strong caliber of Partner, consultative and honest work ethic, global, boutique mentality, emphasis on tight process, detail orientation and a great CEO.

    Cons

Too much emphasis placed on Partners. Not enough training and support at recruiter level. Partners not incentivized to develop recruiting teams under them. Common problem across larger companies. CT have a chance to be different give they are mid-sized.

    Advice to Management

Need to figure out how to grow Partners internally.

    Pros

My co-workers were some of the most intelligent and interesting people I have worked with, and extremely professional. The Cleveland location is a great place to be, and the work environment is very conducive to getting things done.

    Cons

The work is not always the most interesting, and the newer upper management has made some possibly short-sighted choices. They have taken the company in a different direction, time will tell if it is the correct one.

    Advice to Management

the avenues for personal growth are very limited, with talented individuals often leaving the company.

Non-executive associates were very nice and welcoming. All tried to play on the same team.

The.y treated associates like a number instead of an employee.
They didnt really care for work-life balance
Not a great onboarding experience. No training

    Pros

Sharp talented Partners with experience in major Forune companies
Focused on the client and meeting thier needs and building long lasting relationships
Good pay structure in comparison to other major retained firms (pay for performance orientation at the Associate and Director ranks)

    Cons

Sometimes the pay for performance (closing searches) can be a frustrating and nerve racking experience.
