    A great and wonderful experience

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI love to work at this company . They are very friendly outgoing and helpful . A dynamic work setting to climb and excel.

ConsSome things may seem challenging at first hand. If you are not determined driven and motivated then this opportunity may not be for you.

    Flexible Company to work for.

    Fire Watch (Current Employee)
    Portsmouth, VA

ProsCompany treats you like a respectable employee. I've worked for CTR as a Fire Watch under Epsilon Systems. They care about their employees, if you don't show pay for a week, they call immediately to see why. They never hassle you, as long as you're working, they are fine. A great company to help seek steady employment, while waiting for a mire permanent job. However, you may find that suitable job through CTR.

ConsOn occasion stone employees have been called on short notice, that their job is no longer available. Work while you can.

ConsThe down time between contracts is sometimes to long.

The recruiters at CTR are only interested in "filling" the job - not in providing long-term employment.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prosthere are no pros for this

ConsThe recruiter sent people for interviews where I was supposed to become a permanent employee and was dishonest about it to me as well.

    Rewarding path of Accomplishment

    Recruiter (Current Employee)

ProsI enjoy working alongside the talented professionals located at our offices throughout the United States. I am fond of having the ability to place active job seekers into employment/ careers of their choosing. I love working with veterans of military service to help them transfer from military life to civilian.

ConsNot enough hours in a day to help everyone

Advice to Senior ManagementPizza Parties every friday

Great pay if working out of the area, but layoffs are inevitable

    Pipefitter (Former Employee)
    Portsmouth, VA

ProsThe pay that CTR Corp will offer you is great, and this is especially if you are prior military with an (active/inactive) clearance.

ConsEventually, the project that they assign you to will end......., and once the project is done with you, so will CTR.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen people are coming from out of state to work with CTR, it is sad to say that the employee must know of what he/she is entitled to. I wasn't aware that housing per diem was offered to out of state residents, and lost out on $12,000 (plus the money I had to pay from my regular paycheck to crash with a friend).
