    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Some very good people here, some interesting compounds in development.

    Cons

It's no longer clear that CV stands for "cardiovascular".

    Advice to Management

Don't forget this company develops drugs for heart patients -- it's a limitation, but it's also a strength.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

-Entrepreneurial start-up culture willing to give new ideas a chance -For employees who worked harder and sought out situations to prove their capabilities there were opportunities for job advancement within and growth outside of their field -CEO willing to make big bets on intuition -Overall competent co-workers in R&D

    Cons

-Near the end as revenue projections did not meet actuals for a few years, the decision to try to keep as many of the R&D programs active as possible placed a prolonged strain on R&D -CEO willing to make big bets on intuition

    Advice to Management

As the focus of the firm shifted from R&D to Commercial, more decision making authority should have been considered for senior R&D mgt
