Current Employee – been working at CVS Caremark full-time
Pros – The company as a whole is doing very well. The future of the organization and their mission is solid.
Cons – Within the Specialty Pharmacy Division: The FSM's are the biggest issue and heavy leadership training is needed. Most FSM's do not respect their team, they do not encourage them when they want to look at other opportunites for advancement and they manage their team - not lead.
Advice to Senior Management – Leadership training is needed for all FSM's. Turnover will continue to be an issue until there are more qualified FSM's within the Specialty Pharmacy Division.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at CVS Caremark part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The people who I work with are great. Friendly and personable, the crew makes your shift go by fast. My co-workers have become my friends.
Cons – After you start off at 8.25 and hour, raises are crap. I make $9 and have been there for 4 years. Also sometimes only 1 person gets stuck ringing up customers for hours on end. It sucks, especially she it gets really busy.
Advice to Senior Management – Better raises = more motivated employees.

Current Employee – been working at CVS Caremark part-time for less than a year
Pros – If you are desperate for a job and need something quick by all means apply.
Cons – You are expected to provide Ritz Carlton service while being treated like a slob.
Advice to Senior Management – You get what you pay for and you have not fairly compensated me for the excellent work and service I have done for you. Provide decent pay and hours to your employees or be up front with them upon hiring them and tell them that they are only going to get $8.00/hour and maybe 19 hours a week if they are lucky.

Former Employee – worked at CVS Caremark full-time for less than a year
Pros – -Decent pay for the work (specifically in my region)
-Benefits and paid holidays
-Great people and excellent Managers/supervisors
Cons – -Customers can be rough (again, specifically my region)
-Hours can be a little rough
Advice to Senior Management – Stay connected with your employees, can lose good talent quickly if attention and challenges are not presented.
In addition, not all employees are criminals, scare off the honest ones.

Former Employee – worked at CVS Caremark part-time for more than a year
Pros – Pretty flexible hours of work, easy to learn most jobs. Most coworkers were friendly and approachable.
Cons – Little to no engagement with employees in terms of development opportunities. Miscommunication regarding time available. Favoritism by management led to unfair delegation of tasks. Smoking breaks not factored into overall break allotment. Formation of cliques among employees led to some very unprofessional behavior.
Advice to Senior Management – Better engagement with employees is needed, unless high turnover is not an issue. Even if it's not, your employees shouldn't know that.
