I worked at CVS Health part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I can't think of any pros. I did not have a good experience.

    Cons

The manager was not managing as much as flirting with me and customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I believe that other CVS stores are professional and put together the way they should be, but this store if not under proper management. I felt like I only got the job due to my looks and the fact that I am single with a mixed race son. It made me uncomfortable and I ended up quiting because of it and of course telling them I quit because of transportation, not my comfort level.

I have been working at CVS Health part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very fast paced with a lot to learn, it's a great alternative to the typically dull retail environment. You'll quickly become part of a pseudo-family of pharmacists/technicians.

    Cons

Constantly expected to prioritize selling as many scripts as quickly as possible (via corporate sales metrics) above all else. You're expected to do more with less hours/manpower, which is budgeted based on sales per week. It can quickly become a very stressful and frustrating work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your pharmacists/techs, metrics only make it harder to keep patients and employees happy. Seasoned technicians deserve compensation appropriate for the skills they possess. Healthcare first, sales second.
