    Pros

    Great work life balance, generally stress free work environment.

    Cons

    Narrow job responsibilities, lack of career development, lack of trust in employees, lack of communication, lack of interaction with those outside of your department, large company feel (i.e. easy to get lost in the shuffle) and sub par benefits. Most of this varies greatly from depending on department.

    Your success is determined by the success of the individuals working for you.

    Pros

    The money is good if you are willing to exchange for family time.

    Cons

    Priorities ever changing resulting in enormous effort expended on programs not implemented. Executive management does not walk the talk. Difficult to colaborate on interdepartmental goals.

    Pros

    I cant think of one positive thing to say about this company. Looking back, I think there weren't any Pros.

    Cons

    The management was horrible, there was no employee management communication. The employees where treated like a number with an insane turnaround rate to show for it.

    Advice to Management

    Loosen up and listen to your employees once and a while, there may be a potential shining star there.

    Pros

    None. This is the worst job experience I have ever had. All of my colleagues are looking for other jobs. I'm so disappointed that I turned down other opportunities to take a position at CVS.

    Cons

    No work life balance, pay is lower on average than other companies, no training is offered, no focus on growth. Time off policy is similar to a job you'd get out of college. Terrible environment, extremely low morale. Honestly cannot wait to find a new position.

    Pros

    looks good on your resume providence is a nice city as individuals, good people, mostly not horrible technology for employees

    Cons

    upper management is blind and deaf CIO is worthless HR is worthless your director can lie about you and no one cares

    My advice to management? Leave.

    Pros

    Couple of decent people. Total lack of urgency. If you are a CVS employee, expect to be waiting in line at 4:30 to walk out of the office, regardless of what's happening.

    Cons

    Total reliance on outside vendors. The 1st priority of all employees is to CYA, and everything is left to vendors, including all accountability and responsibility. Zero management of vendors. Complete lack of change management; incoherent policies and procedures that deliver nothing but unnecessary overhead to any effort. Zero ownership of anything from either the business or IT - just a lot of blank stares, shrugged shoulders and whining about what contractors did wrong.

    Advice to Management

    less focus on making sure employees know what things will detract from their bonus, and more focus on actually delivering useful capabilities.
