Pros
there are good benefits the starting pay isn't that great but the treat you well and are flexible with time off , there is alot of overtime available
Cons
the is alot of politics involved there aren't that many opportunities to advance and when there are its not always based on performance
Advice to Senior Management
promotions should be based of job performance not who you know and who you are friendly with or who you know in the company and you need to give us more time to complete trouble calls
Pros
Best benefits, Good atmosphere, opportunity to make good money if you speak Spanish.
Cons
Micro management, Not enough leads to work with, talking to same customers again and again.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to come up with the new territory and put a limit on number of sales peoples, because when you flood the floor with salespeople and not having enough leads, they will definitely suffer.
Pros
- 24 hours so can work day or night
- Location has food court and break room in one area.
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Sick Days, Holidays
- Public Transportation Accessible
Cons
- Public Transportation only accessible on certain times, may need a car during certain shifts due to location
- Shifts may not be flexible.
Pros
Flexible, Great Pay Very Easy to make over 100k a year if you put in your time.
Cons
NO really career advancement this is a job not a career
Advice to Senior Management
No advice
Pros
A salary and 401K. A real learning experience to get an education.
Cons
Poor leads. saturated maket, beg for orders, no real value add, a commodity. This results in poor compensation for efforts. Overlap in territory w other sales people. Very strong internal competition for same orders.
No milage paid or expenses. YOu pay it all out your pocket. Managers from old days when selling cable had no competition and had value. Very cheap company. Better off walking dogs for a living.
Advice to Senior Management
Change comp plan for field. Get rid of management layers - too top heavy.
Pros
Training was decent. Pay was lower than normal pay but they did a lot of role playing to get you ready.
Cons
Not great supervision of employees. Hard to get time off. Couldn't wait to get out of there everyday.
Pros
A company with a tremendous potential for growth and development. Its what you decide to make of it.
Cons
A company with a tremendous potential for growth and development, that has poor leadership. Its what you decide to make of it....and what someone else sees in you.
Advice to Senior Management
Too slow to react.
Pros
Good benefits, great compensation, work outside
Cons
Mirco manage, work till 9pm every night, work Sataurdays
Pros
Opportunities to move up within the company via internal job postings before they go public.
Night time differential for late shifts is nice incentive to work the later shift.
Cons
Getting stuck pulling a double shift due to blizzards.
When first started the devlopers of the in-house tools were too picky on who gets to use them. The whole support department should have access to new tools even in testing stages as that will allow for more feedback and debugging.
Pros
- A LOT of opportunities within this company. On any given day, there are at least 15-20 internal job postings, yet I notice quite a few people complaining about lack of promotion opportunity. I've been in this company for not even 1.5 years and I've already been promoted, twice. I'm off of the phones; have a respectable schedule and a GREAT salary. I did it without kissing anyones a** or playing the politics game. Listen folks.. Hard work, smarts and a bit of creativity is all you need to survive ANYWHERE in life. So If you're not motivated, then you will complain in every single workplace you find yourself.
Cons
The only con I would list is the communication between upper management and their employees. It's almost impossible to tell who' who half the time.
Advice to Senior Management
Advocate for your employees! Don't let the supervisors do all of your work.
