    Pros

Progressive in problem resolution, we deal the communities. Environment's involved; land clearing, pad construction, drilling & completions. All associated issues, reassuring the public we are compliant w/all state & federal laws.

    Cons

Low commodity prices on CNG, limited resources to distribute, infrastructure issues.

    Advice to Management

n/a, except promote me to a function that I can make a difference for our company!

    Pros

401k not much else to say. Pay is okay, and they think you're really lucky to work there.

    Cons

horrible medical insurance vacation and time off is far below industry standard

    Advice to Management

There's not much good to say about this company. Lots of back stabbing, favoritism and nepotism in disguise. Nothing to learn unless you consider learning how they did everything in the olden days an education.

    Pros

Awesome 401k and the stock option bonuses out is really.

    Cons

Overall good place to work but it's the only place I've worked where CYA is a really big deal. The higher-ups are all for the companies best interest, not the employees. Theres a lot of "perks" if your higher in the food chain also. The field workers get no respect when there the driving force of the company.

    Advice to Management

Give the respect to the field workers and make an effort to raise there moral. Without them, you would not be in the position your in.

    Pros

Was a challenging work environment that allowed me to learn and grow. Excellent salary and benefits and a lot of employees with many many years of service. Work schedule allowed me to be off every other Friday.

    Cons

With growth comes a lot of work . . .

    Advice to Management

    Overall good experience.

    Pros

Excellent job security. Great opportunities to learn. No micro-managing. Friendly co-workers. 9/80 work schedule. Annual bonuses.

    Cons

Employees are hired and promoted based on likeability rather than ability.

    Pros

Pretty good pay, stock incentives, 9/80 work schedule

    Cons

Management & HR is incompetent. Needs to respect employees. Stop with inappropriate behavior.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of upper management in Pittsburgh-start from scratch. The personnell issues are caused from the top on down. Need to install a competent HR dept. that actually investigates claims and enacts effective policies and punishments for infractions of policy.

    Pros

Good people to work with and nice offices. This is an old company that has a legacy in the oil and gas business. Vendors come in almost everyday with breakfast or lunch with enough free food for everyone. There's free Starbucks coffee and the refrigerators are well stocked with free juices, teas and sodas. Employees work well in a team and get the work done.

    Cons

The land department is a revolving door. People leave and aren't replaced. As a result the remaing employees do the work of two or three people. No positive reinforcement from senior management. Management is largely absent. That leaves employees to gossip and guess what the priorities are when getting work done.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at senior management and reorganize the land department. Employees have to call headquarters in Houston to figure things out.
