    Pros

Friendly regulars, "cute-boy tips," coworkers almost feel like family, free or heavily discounted drinks when not working

    Cons

Limited growth opportunities, unwanted attention from guests, late hours

    Pros

Lots of great people work here, learned some great techniques from some of the guys and gals in the back.

    Cons

Corporate style management frequently disrespectful of employees - you WILL be chewed out here.
Little to no training for newbies - very frustrating.
All employees pay for food, all broken food is trashed (I was informed that this was to prevent intentional 'mistakes').
Lots of "Mickey Mouse" - we're business "partners" kind of talk. Think Office Space "You do want to express yourself, don't you? We give you overtime as a "reward"."
Very very corporate climate; this place is a chain and it shows bigtime.

    Advice to Management

The corporate attitude and "business partner" stuff really disenfranchised me.

    Pros

Great people, Good management. Opportunities to move around within the restaurant. Lots of good looking guys and girls.

    Cons

Have to work weekend nights. Tend to take advantage of teens who don't know alot about workplace relations and job negotiation.

    Advice to Management

Stress availability and openness to discussion with all employees so they feel comfortable coming to you with issues.

    Pros

Great company to work for. Management was really supportive and friendly and allowed lots of creativity within the role. Great pay and experience.

    Cons

Difficult to ahold of upper management to make changes when needed. Long hours and had to work weekends and holidays.

    Advice to Management

Have more events so employees could get to know the upper management. This way there would be a better way of communicating new ideas employees may have,

    Pros

Cactus club has a strong emphasis on food quality and treats their customers with a lot of respect. Generally a pretty easy going environment.

    Cons

Many chefs have close to zero interaction with the regular line cooks, and generally there is a lot of favoritism. Many strong employees seem to be underpaid and struggle for promotions.

    Advice to Management

Treat your cooks less like children
