I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Nice benefits and a free gym for employees. I thought the company orientation was interesting/fun and I appreciate how the company works hard to be environmentally conscious.

    Cons

Management in my department has an expectation of working long hours every week. Initial training was terrible and they expected me to know the systems without any guidance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of training your new employees better, this will make everything in the long run better. Also there needs to be a better work/life balance.

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They really treat their employees well. They make sure their employees are happy and their concerns are met. The do have a program so you can get rewarded with "credits" for giving great service that you can use to buy different things like tvs and electronics.

    Cons

Sometimes a lot of cigarette smoke. Some of the older casinos need repair and/or updating. Some of the casinos are very very noisy which can ring the ears.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promotions for employees and upgrade the food in the E.D.R.

    Pros

    great benefits for the employees

    Cons

did not give me a chance to show what my abilities are. A lot of confusion at management level

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let someone go from a job until you give them a chance to be trained properly. 3 weeks and out was not much time considering I was told it would take 6 months to get the job down.

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

There are No positives in working for Caesars Entertainment

    Cons

Pay is below poverty level, No pay increase for 2 years. Then a 1% raise, insurance went up, They charge you to work there, gaming license and $60 every 4 years for fingerprinting, finger prints dont change. Sheriff's department will di it for $10, IOWA SUX greedy lazy scumbags. The dumber you are (eg: supervisor casino services) the faster you will get promoted, GM will take a $18 million bonus and uses food for employees as a carrot to increase profits, but dont eat the food unless your immune system can handle it- you will get sick. NO SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL, NO SICK LEAVE, NO VACATION, you will get PTO but if u use it for sickleave you will get pointed for taking it, you apply for a day off using your PTO you are at their mercy and it will get cancelled and or modified, HORSESHOE and HARRAHS are terrible employers. All management are operating without a clue. Criminal behavior by 7 star and Diamond patrons is usually rewarded by management and there are separate standards for them and those that just come to visit, you will pay $13 for a hamburger $10 for cigarettes $1.50 for a snickers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of your employees, They are an asset, Increase pay for hourly employees at least 35%
