I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are ok.

Every company has its politics (you know who you are), but, all in all, if you have a good idea and know how to ask for what you want, you can make a difference.

    Casinos are fun! :)

    Cons

Sometimes I feel like I am working with an abacus and talking to the old man on the hill. "What do you mean there is a better way!? We can't change pace now!"

Long hours if you want them.

The blame game makes it's rounds and some senior management eat it up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You spend too much money on failed projects and band aids.

Stop hiring so many consultants and contractors. They are just there to massage your ego and be a talking point anyway. Make the tough decisions yourself, you already know the answer anyhow.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The largest - analyst company in America- they can tell you anything with regards to labor standards - you can quickly as a new leader learn - do to there being so few managers

    Cons

They have forgotten How Phil S. made Harrah's so successful - Customers - labor is so reduced that lines with one employee are the norm and senior leadership at AC properties are unwilling or unable to articulate this to HQ in Vegas. Guest are going to go to NY and MA simply because of service and ( because they can)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Apollo should - move quickly at corporate level and eliminate CEO- he didnt get the job done and his leadership has cost a casino licence in MA his home state

    Summary

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment

    Pros

    - Generally good people and it is interesting to work in entertainment.
    - The company prizes data and analytics, so if you excel in this area AND want to work in entertainment, this is a great place to do it (an analytical mindset will not relegate you to just finance)

    Cons

    - Financial pressures of the company make for a bit of a "down" environment. The outlook for this company is not favorable over the next few years. Not for any particular fault of the day to day management of the company, but the debt burden is something that can't be sidestepped.

  7.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time for less than a year

    Pros

No experience or education? Not a problem. Just find an insider.

    Cons

Arrogant, unqualified "professionals". Cut-throat environment, unethical managers and supervisors, no work-life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reorganize. Old-timers weeding out newcomers with potential.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Largest casino company with plenty of history and resources. Provide full range of benefits and have numerous opportunities throughout the country.

    Cons

Benefits package is sub-par. Since going back to being a public company, dollars for salaries, benefits and other enticements have been cut or eliminated. "Star" (read: favored) employees get fast-tracked while others toil or get shuffled to less desirable positions.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time

    Pros

    Can't thin of any pro's

    Cons

I agree with the other reviews. Favoritism is the name of the game although it's the first time I have ever tried to suck up to the bosses and co workers, giving gifts to all and what did it get me? No where. It's not what you know or experience. Bottom line, Awful place to work.
