    Pros

Free food in the Employee Dining Room... that's it.

    Cons

Disjointed, lack of direction, poor pay, no bonuses, miserable people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just sell the company already and put everyone out of their misery.

    Pros

No experience or education? Not a problem. Just find an insider.

    Cons

Arrogant, unqualified "professionals". Cut-throat environment, unethical managers and supervisors, no work-life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reorganize. Old-timers weeding out newcomers with potential.

    Pros

The best things about working at Caesars Entertainment is working for the largest gaming company in the world. With this comes great connectivity, the largest data base of casino customers, and a variety of resort products owned under the Caesars Entertainment Brands.

    Cons

The company has restructured multiple times in the last few years, leaving the work force thin, overworked, under appreciated, and constantly in fear of your job security. Instead of the company leading as an innovator and industry leader, the company opperates in a "knee-jerk" reactive invironment that constantly puts the employees as the casualty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop reporting up...and lead your teams. The trickle down efffect of a nervous employee is a nervous customer and a loss of revenue.

I worked there for 9yrs; if it wasn't for the constant change in the dept & mgnt I would have stayed longer.

    Pros

Good for a start up job, you do meet alot of people, good networking. If you happen to get a great manager then stay.

    Cons

Benefits are expensive for non-union employees, mgrs need better extensive training (they don't last very long). Company is too busy robbing peter to pay paul, no raises for employees, long hours, work overload, no time for your own vacation because there is no one to cover for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Acknowledge those who really deserve it. Train your managers and really listen to employee complaints. Mgrs have a bad habit of throwing good employees under the bus for their benefit.

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

A good place to learn about the gaming industry and meet industry execs

    Cons

A very frustrating place to work in terms of lack of communication from senior management team and a real lack of leadership. Benefits have declined drastically over the years from healthcare, to 401K match (or lack thereof), even employee dining room options. Terribly low morale throughout. Workloads have gone up while staffing has gone down. Communication coming from HR shows that they really don't know how to speak to the corporate team in terms of demonstrating a vision for success or showing they appreciate employees.

    Pros

Largest casino company with plenty of history and resources. Provide full range of benefits and have numerous opportunities throughout the country.

    Cons

Benefits package is sub-par. Since going back to being a public company, dollars for salaries, benefits and other enticements have been cut or eliminated. "Star" (read: favored) employees get fast-tracked while others toil or get shuffled to less desirable positions.

    Pros

Had great leadership; management was supportive; tried to provide fair work-life balance; great benefits; decent pay, great incentive programs.

    Cons

Really can't say anything bad; they are a business, and to be successful business decisions must be made for the sustaining of the business. They considered the effects of business decisions on the lives of their team members to the best of their ability.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to make the employment of good supervisors a priority, giving them the support they need to be successful, as supervisors have the greatest impact on line employees regarding motivation and the achievement of acquiring discretionary effort. .
