I have been working at Cafe Gratitude full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great Schedule. Upbeat environment. Employee's Greatful. Owners and Creaters on hand. Corporate support. Wide variety of awesome guests. Food is tasty. Location is right by my home.

    Cons

It's a small restaurant. The service line is overcrowded. We need to implement a better waiting list. My position is challenging at times when employees don't want more structure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make pricing more affordable. Shop New benders.

I worked at Cafe Gratitude part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Delicious food, amazing customers and coworkers, and a positive environment. "Clearing" with a coworker at the beginning of the workday was crucial.

    Cons

I don't have any "Cons." However, for some people a con would include Cafe Gratitude's practice of tip-sharing with the entire restaurant, including the back of the house.

  3.

Fun, great attitudes, pure foods, but illegal tip sharing

I worked at Cafe Gratitude part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Attitudes and practices of staff, yummy foods that are nourishing and good for the body. Other locations have adopted different pay structures.

    Cons

Seriously, illegal tip sharing. If it were structured differently, it would have been fine. The SF location shut down in order to avoid dealing with the legalities, then publicly blamed the workers for the closing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish that the owners had listened to the reasonable requests and smart suggestions about tip sharing from the store staff.

    Doesn't Recommend
