Excellent people at my place of employment.
Cons – Camp needs to be upgraded.
Advice to Senior Management – To keep your skilled employees ensure that they are happy and involved with their work and camp life. Do not be top heavy- less management and more people on the floor.

Former Employee – worked at Cameco full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Insurance and benefits were good
Cons – Low salaries by industry standard. Little opportunity for advancement. Cameco basically trains employees for better jobs somewhere else.
Advice to Senior Management – Management views government regulators with open disdain in company meetings. This is highly inappropriate and has led to complications with permitting and mining.

Current Employee – been working at Cameco
Pros – Many different sites; however, the people are consistently great. Good benefits and competitive compensation. Fantastic community outreach and support.
Cons – Because it is such a big company spread across many sites and a large geographic area there is often a lot of "red tape" when pursuing new ideas or ways to improve business operations. That being said it is a fairly typical complaint in the corporate world...
Advice to Senior Management – Can be disassociated from their employees; some lack leadership and the ability to encourage new ideas that create positive change and growth within their department.
