Pros – Great engineering environment. No micro-management. Challenging.
Cons – Human Resources can be a joke.
Advice to Senior Management – Get rid of the current lower level HR reps for Subsea. Thousands of dollars wasted throughout each training rotation.

Pros – Good atmosphere, work environment, and location. Management handles personnel with respect and trusts the employees to do their job. Laid back atmosphere that encourages hardworking employees to enjoy their job.
Cons – In my experience, I have encountered no real cons at the facility that I worked at. I think there are normal everyday stresses of a job, but that comes with the nature of the work being done.
Advice to Senior Management – I would suggest that corporate try to be more involved with the employees of the company. I know it is hard because it's an international corporation, but I'm sure there is a way to do it.

Current Employee – been working at Cameron International
Pros – Cameron is a large company so there's room for growth.
Cons – Depending on your manager, they will work you like a dog and give you no additional pay or bonus to reflect the overtime. Some managers refuse to let their workers work into the wee hours of the night others will work you until 1 or 2 in the morning, with no break or food!!! HR has heard many complaints and has done NOTHING! they also don't keep your comments confidential so beware of this before you complain to HR. VERY HIGH turnover in my group. So if you ever get a interview be sure to question tenure of members of the group you will be working with. VERY IMPORTANT!!
Advice to Senior Management – Hire Qualified personnel!

Former Employee – worked at Cameron International
Pros – The people are great to work worth and everyone is dedicated. You are able to provide value on every project.
Cons – Reduction in staffing has caused an imbalance of work and individual life that is starting to effect productivity. There is a lack of proper project championship which has caused cost wastes.
Advice to Senior Management – Executive team, consider the organization as a whole rather than your own individual goals. The executive direction will need to change at multiple levels to regain its strength.

Typically the company has many large projects
