I worked at Cameron full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Nice office to work at

    Cons

    Demotivated environment
    High turnover in most department
Seasonal staff limit new staffs to learn (highly political environment)
    Supervisor lack of managerial skills
Just terminate people without valid reason

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Will never had new staffs stay for long because of the seasonal staffs limited the learning curve, no chance for new staffs to grow, high turnover, people come and go within weeks and months.

    Pros

I like the fact you can grow in this company and head any direction, it is such a large organization that you will find something suited to your professional desire.

    Cons

Well i think the leadership can take on a much more active role in the mentoring process I see such high mobility in the company that it is important to keep the legacy for the next generation.

    Pros

Cameron is a solid company with industry leading reputation. Our products are world class, and are considered by the industry as the best products on the market.

I worked at Cameron full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pay, 9% 401K matching, and health insurance. The company has grown quickly and is still struggling to be a real "enterprise" company.

    Cons

Little to no flex time (i.e. have to take vac if you have a sick child), often middle mgmt is not qualified for their role, HR holds the company hostage (can't hire for positions even when money is in the budget). Quite a few IT staff have left/retired to get of the work situation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    New managers need training!
